A New Chapter of Independence

A New Chapter of Independence

Bryce is officially home from inpatient rehab, and the real work begins as he navigates life's challenges in the real world. He's tackling obstacles like high curbs or inaccessible restaurants with resolve. Recently, he returned to his old school to start a mountain biking event, showing his readiness to reintegrate into his community. His upper body strength has returned impressively, and he's mastered skills like balancing and maneuvering his wheelchair, drawing on years of biking and slacklining.

This week, Bryce drove a modified car with hand controls for the first time, a big step toward independence. He's using a loan lightweight wheelchair until his custom one arrives, complete with offroad wheels for getting back into nature.

At the Wings for Life event, he completed 9.77km in 1:04:22—an incredible achievement just four months post-injury.

Please pray for:
- Bryce's new path in work and business opportunities
- Continued health, strength, and flexibility
- His positive outlook and new friendships
- His rehab friend JP and fiancé Sonelda, facing greater challenges due to a higher spinal injury
- Mitchell, as he prepares for exams

Thank you for your overwhelming support. The love and care from this community have carried us through.
