The Journey

Life Story

Every chapter of Bryce's journey has shaped who he is today—an athlete, an inspiration, and a symbol of hope.

Before the Injury

A Life on Two Wheels

On a quiet Boxing Day in 2023, life changed irrevocably for Bryce Carter. The 20-year-old avid cyclist had navigated countless pump tracks in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Riding bikes was something he picked up at a very young age—he was 3 years old and already riding without training wheels.

His passion for cycling wasn't just a hobby—it was a way of life. Bryce had just finished a 2-year work stint, had been saving, and was due to start a yachting training course on the 11th of January. The Carter Bros, Matt and the boys, loved going out to Blaauklippen Wine Estate in Stellenbosch for fun days riding on what is known as a "Pump Track."
